The NCRA Education Foundation supports the advancement of the Cancer Registry
profession through education and research.
NCRA Education Foundation is an essential partner in the prevention and cure of cancer.
PRIORITIES & PROGRAMS
The NCRA Education Foundation has an
exempt status from the IRS. Programs are in development to
identify research priorities within the cancer registry field.
Several working committees have been formed to assist in
the prioritization of research and education.
The Foundation has four Goals:
- Administration and Internal Communications - Assure a sound infrastructure to maintain the Foundation.
- Finance - Maintain financial stability.
- Public Relations and External Communications - Promote the activities and achievements of the Foundation.
- Project Development and Fundraising - Identify, prioritize and fund projects consistent with our mission and vision.
NCRA Education Foundation: Developing a New Recruitment Package for HIM Schools
The National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA) and the NCRA Education Foundation have entered into a partnership to produce a recruitment package for use at Health Information Management (HIM) schools. This recruitment tool will target prospective new cancer registrars.
